I am SO proud to say i was part of a collective at #Crenshaw modeled after the magnificence that is #BurkinaFaso and just to see something that we aspired toward actually thrive!

It is a source of pride unlike one can imagine. Now you all know where the social media tag @nuburkinabey came from 😉 i have since changed me SM tags, but – now you know!

Many respects and showers of gratitude to Brandon Sankara for starting Wisdom from the Field and allowing me to be part of his vision for #SouthLosAngeles, inspired by #BurkinaFaso’s leadership 🫡 I had no idea about Burkina Faso’s legacy until becoming part of Wisdom.

It is especially fitting to note that Ibrahim Toare has replaced beauty pageants in Burkina Faso with national science competitions for women, and that Brandon happens to be a biologist!🧪

Amazing how people can be millions of miles, never having met, and the same frequency can align them. And that’s science! 😆 (#NerdJokes🤓)
